The 60 CP program "Bachelor of Arts in Sociology" at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of six semesters. The purpose of the course is to impart the basics, manifestations and developments of human coexistence. Over the training students examine the emergence, change and mutual interaction of social structures with the help of various sociological theories and methods. The program is studied in combination with a second sub-degree of 120 credits to reach a total of 180 credit points. The admission requirement is a recognized higher education entrance qualification and a B2 level in English. Graduates find employment as social researchers, public relations workers, administrators and more.
