The 60 CP program "Bachelor of Arts in Sports Science" at the Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg has a duration of six semesters. The training aims to provide students with the fundamentals of the sport in the natural sciences, social sciences, sports medicine, training and movement science. The curriculum includes subjects such as sports biomechanics, Biochemistry in Sport, Social Science Foundations, and Exercise Physiology and Functional Anatomy. The course is studied in combination with a second partial degree of 120 credits to reach a total of 180 credit points. To submit, applicants must have a recognized higher education entrance qualification and pass a sports aptitude test.
