The study program “Bachelor of Arts in Crossmedia Publishing” offered by Merz Academy located in Stuttgart provides students with a solid practical and theoretical foundation with which to use all essential media and technology. Because of the ever-changing media landscape, the course of study encourages students` creativity and connects with current world issues, making it an exploratory program. Students will gain abilities that may be applied in a number of professional settings by developing a critical awareness of current media. Furthermore, participants will learn hoe to analyse and critically interact with situations and themes, which they convert into creative work using a variety of media. Some of the topics that will be addressed throughout the course of study are creative writing, data journalism, animation, visual design, etc. For their crossmedia practice, students build not just technical but also theoretical and ethical perspectives.
