The “Master of Science in Applied Geosciences” is a German-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at Leoben University of Mining. The curriculum includes interdisciplinary courses in Geosciences, Raw Materials Geology, Economic Geology, Mineral Oil Geology, Applied Geophysics, etc. Also, students can align their education to their interests by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will gain practical relevance and industry-specific skills. The MSc prepares graduates to assume leadership positions in geophysics service companies, construction material and utility material industry, recycling, construction sector, academic research, and more.
