The “Master of Science in Materials Science” is a 4-semester long program taught in German. It builds on the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at the Leoben University of Mining. The curriculum includes advanced courses in Metals Science and Materials Testing, Materials Physics, Ceramic Materials, Nano and Biomaterials, Functional Materials, Materials for Electronics, and more. Additionally, students can align their education to their interests by taking up elective modules. Through various case studies and application-oriented seminars, participants will acquire practical relevance and industry-specific skills. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume positions in the steel and light metal industries, automotive and aviation industries, medical technology, research and development, and more.
