The “Master of Science in Metallurgy” is a German- and English-taught program with a duration of 4 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Bachelor’s degree offered at Leoben University of Mining. Throughout their studies, participants will deepen their knowledge in Primary and Secondary Extraction of Metals, Sustained Process Development, Down Stream Processing, and Materials Technology of Metals. Also, students can align their education to their interests by taking up elective modules. The MSc is application-oriented and aims to provide participants with hands-on experience and key competencies. It also promotes the development of soft skills needed for a successful career in metal extraction and processing companies, marketing and sales, construction management, research and development, etc.
