The doctoral degree “Mining & Tunnelling” is a English-taught program with a duration of 6 semesters. It is a continuation of the corresponding Master’s degree and aims to deepen the knowledge of students and introduce them to more complex matters. The curriculum includes advanced courses in Raw Materials, Geotechnical Engineering and Tunnelling, Raw Materials and Energy Systems, Global Resources, Earth and Technology, Geomatics, and more. Additionally, students can choose from a plethora of elective modules and diversify their education. The program is research-oriented and aims to provide participants with the technical and analytical skills needed to plan and conduct scientific projects on their own. Upon completion of the program, graduates are qualified to assume leadership positions in various sectors of the field.
