Description


The degree program “Master of Laws in Building Law in the Life Cycle of Buildings” is offered by Münster University of Applied Sciences is spanning a duration of 4 semesters. The full-time course of study is carried out in cooperation with the BWI-Bau - Institute of the Construction Industry. During the course, students learn how to proceed in case of deviations between planning and execution law, in the case of contracts based on different legal sources and many more legal issues. Moreover, planning, building and operating peculiarities must be taken into account in the drafting and processing of contracts throughout the life cycle of buildings. However, a first professional university degree is a prerequisite for admission as well as level C1 in German is required. In addition, a proof of relevant practical work experience after the first professional university degree, usually for at least one year of full-time employment is required.
