The full-time degree program “Bachelor of Science in Home Economics & Nutrition Science” is offered by Münster University of Applied Sciences. It amounts to 6 semesters. Before starting the course of study, participants must complete a pre-study internship of at least eight weeks, intended to familiarize them with the work processes in practice. Furthermore, the latter curriculum is an amalgamation of natural and nutritional sciences, business administration and communication. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to work as product developers and quality managers in the food industry, as nutritionists, specialist journalists and many more. Level C1 in German is required for admission, according to the Common European Framework of Reference (GER).
