The part-time degree program “Master of Arts in Social Management” is offered by Münster University of Applied Sciences. It has a length of 5 semesters. During the course, students gain managerial skills, learning about special technical, legal and value-related peculiarities of social work. In addition, the course opens up the prospect of subsequently completing a doctorate at a university. Having gained competence in the filed, graduates are able to work in the subfields of social management. For admission, a proof of at least one year of relevant professional activity after the first university degree at the start of studies is a prerequisite as well as first university degree in social work, social pedagogy or another degree relevant to social work is required.
