Description

The full-time degree program “Bachelor of Engineering in Technical Orthopedics” is offered by Münster University of Applied Sciences. It has a durtion of 6 semesters, and is taught in German. The course combines training as an orthopedic technician with an engineering degree. In addition, modules on the mathematical, scientific and engineering basics are covered. In the third semester, when the specialization phase begins, participants are able to deepen their knowledge in measurement technology, rehabilitation technology and biomechanics. The end of the program provides for the creation of the bachelor’s thesis. Having gained competence in the field, graduates are able to work in various subfields of technical orthopedics.
