The “Master of Arts in Industrial Design: Medical Design” is a four-semester study program offered by the Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design in Kiel. All courses are extremely practically oriented aiming at delivering the participants experience with real clients. The Muthesius Academy of Art organizes interdisciplinary art and design weekly workshops gaining international students from over 30 countries. The university offers a creative and personal atmosphere with devoted teaching practitioners that share their experience with a group of not more than 20 students each. The course is primarily focused on the challenges of healthy livelihoods through design in a broader social context, including sustainable innovations, and variety of design principles for the creation of sustainable healthy changes globally. The participants are expected to develop critical attitude, sensitivity, care, and attention to detail.
