Description
The extra-occupational academic vocational course “Food & Design” at New Design University has a duration of three semesters. The program is a project-oriented course and will teach students to be critical and experimental designers. The course curriculum incorporates a development of an eatable product, a dining tool or furniture and a gastronomic or sustainable overall concept. These design workshops consist of theoretical, practical courses, design and cultural history, artistic representation techniques, research methods, experimental gastronomy, basics of sustainability, project management, guest lectures and excursions. Graduates will be qualified as academically certified food designer and will find a career in tourism, and they could create new market trends and as experimental food designer. Graduates of tourism schools, product, industrial and interior designers, people from the fields of Journalism, Media, Marketing, PR, Architecture, Culture and Event management could apply their admission requirements.
