The “Master of Business Administration in Corporate Management and Entrepreneurship” of four semesters has been devised by Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences as a generalistic degree. Its aim is familiarizing students with the complex network of corporate processes and decisions, and the interdependence among these. With such broad scope of awareness and knowledge, graduates could either opt for a career in business, or build further upon it at a higher degree level. The curriculum also intergrates a lot of practice to illustrate the pragmatic application of the academic load. Three fields of competence are identified and taught to future managers – interpersonal ones, those related to information, and the decision-process ones. Having acquired knowledge on these, students will be confident to perform various middle and senior management positions, set up a business of their own, or improve their economic knowledge to employ in science–related businesses.
