The “Bachelor of Science in Economics”, with three possible profiles, is available at Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences. The first is the general study of the economic principles in the pure Economics degree, the other two are in International Economics – for the detailed analysis of global trends, financial dependencies, and international relations, and the last one is in Data Analytics – to be able to interpret digital and empirical data collected, as well as make use of digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in economic processes. It comprises seven study semesters, one of which is a compulsory internship. The languages used are German and English. There are additional requirements for the completion of the International Economics degree – one is the international semester abroad, and the other - that half of the credits should be earned in a language, other than German. The Data Analytics requires work on quantitative modules – the bachelor’s thesis, the practical semester, as well as fifty percent of the study load.
