The 120-credit worth “Master of Engineering in Environment Protection” was designed with a lot of care from experts belonging to four universities: Esslingen University, University of Reutlingen, University of Applied Sciences Stuttgart, and the HfWU. On a rotatory basis, these offer their location for the site of studies. German is the language of instruction of this four-semester long degree. The design of the study plan relies on the close cooperation among students, lecturers and outside business consultants. The well-equipped modern laboratories and other facilities are of irreplaceable support for the practice-oriented, work compatible program. There are also internships planned. The subjects increase in complexity from basic to advanced knowledge in biology, ecology and environment protection, and the last semester is dedicated to the in-depth preparation of the Master’s thesis. A possibility exists for completing a double degree from the partnering ESAIP (Ecole Supérieure Angevine d'informatique et Productique) in Angers, as an Ingénieur Prevention des Risques, Environnement et Sécurité (SEP).
