The “Bachelor of Arts in Health and Tourism Management” course at Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences supplies the necessary managerial competence for specialists in these two spheres. It occupies seven semesters and is held in German and English. A basic course is taken in the administration subjects like accounting, finance, controlling, project management, organization, HR. Alongside these, specific disciplines of the health education and tourism are included, as well as law and economics. Quantitative and empirical methods of research, IT and Business English, are the additional competences given. In the advanced part of the program these are paired with the project, process and strategic management knowledge, the offer and destination management, as well as the intercultural health management, to name but a few of the broad area of subjects taught. Health and wellness, tourism and insurance companies and associations are the suppliants of employment for these experts.
