Description
The seven-semester German-taught degree course “Bachelor of Engineering in Landscape Planning and Nature Conservation” at Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences is a preparation of specialists who will be planning buildings, as well as restoring and protecting landscapes – both natural and built-up ones. Small teams work in close collaboration among each other and their lecturers on interdisciplinary projects, with the unlimited access to studios, and GIS and CAD laboratories. One semester is for supervised practice, the rest are scheduled into basic and advanced studies of landscape planning and nature conservation. To support these, natural sciences, computer techniques, geographical information systems, technical drawing programs are included. The final four months of the course will be dedicated to a written or graphic bachelor’s thesis, which is done on a practice-oriented task under the supervision of the academic advisors.
