The “Master of Science in Property Management” at Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences commits to produce middle or upper-level management professionals for the necessities of the real estate and housing industry. This is done through a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum, intensifying the first-degree studies to a point of independent responsible competence and efficient application of the scientific knowledge dealt with. The three semesters of the course are taught in German and English, also. It is structured into corporate management stage, a major study, case study, a master’s thesis, and an oral examination in the end. Special interest is the advanced module in International Real Estate Studies, where negotiations, transactions, market analysis will be seen in an authentic English-speaking situation, to prepare students for the current viable use of their studies. Future graduates will observe the real estate business processes though their economic, ecologic and social dimensions, with particular emphasis on sustainability.
