Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences offers the “Master of Science Sustainable Agriculture and Food Industry” program. It spreads over three semesters and German is used as a vehicle language. The study course supposes a start from an already acquired level, which will be led to a higher competence and professional qualification, through the close cooperation with local and national companies and institutions. The growing awareness of environmentally protective and conscious actions in all industries, applies to a much greater extent to agriculture. Production, processing and provision of food, as well as raw materials and energy, require for new personal and corporate responsibility and strategies to be performed and maintained. Innovative research methods in the agrifood industry, reporting, measurement, assessment, and controlling, a research project and a master’s thesis, are the parts programmed to lead to the complete academic and practical prepration of participants.
