Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences, through its Faculty of Economics and Law, gives access to the “Bachelor of Science in Sustainable Management – Energy Industry/Product Management/Resource Management” course. Three majors are given for students to tailor their studies according to preferences: Energy Industry, Product Management and Resource Management. These are studied in detail from the third semester on. Until then, a general knowledge course is provided on business and technology basics, as well as law, concerning manufacturing, product or process industries, service and administration institutions. The execution of a practical projects with partnering companies complement the deep scientific theoretical studies. A common concern is guaranteeing sustainability of economic activities through ecologically conscious behavior at the individual, group and corporate level. The peer mentoring program of the university, in which senior students advise junior ones, will be useful in guiding students in their choice of profile.
