Description
The study program “Master of Engineering in Sustainable Urban and Regional Development” is offered at Nürtingen-Geislingen University of Applied Sciences. It is a three-semetser long degree. The balance and symbiosis of built-up and natural landscape should gurantee both human wellbeing and habitat sustainability. This will be achieved mainly through the specifically trained specialists like the graduates of the present degree, who, by onsite practice and project work, field trips and excursions, will observe and analyse spatial planning, design, creation and land use, side by side with the application of economics, ethics, mobility, ecology, building law. As a conclusion of the course of studies, a Master’s thesis will be developed.
