The “Bachelor of Science in Computer Science - Media Informatics” program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. The main aim of the course is to prepare students in the areas software development and media production. The focus is on media design, rich media applications, audio and video technology as well as computer graphics, 3D modeling and animation. Candidates must present a university entrance qualification or a completed previous education or a master's examination or a completed training course for state-certified technician and state-certified technician as determined by the relevant ministry as equivalent. Graduates enjoy diverse career opportunities, primarily in the planning, implementation and monitoring of IT solutions for the creation of printed, electronic, digital or interactive communication media, or design and implementation of websites.
