Description
The “Master of Science in HELPP - Health Services Research and Design” program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences focuses on the fields of midwifery, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy and nursing. During the 4 full-time semesters, students are prepared for the analysis and evaluation of health care as well as care management and health care research. Introduction to Health Services Research, Epidemiology and Social Demography in the Health Professions, Design principles of the health system, Professional development and interdisciplinary care design, Applied biometrics and statistics in the health professions, Evaluation of health services and other subjects are part of the curriculum. Admission requirements include professional approval in the health professions of midwifery, occupational therapy, speech therapy, physiotherapy or nursing, a Bachelor's degree or comparable university degree in a corresponding or closely related course of study, and knowledge of the English language.
