The “Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Therapy (Manual Therapy – OMPT)” program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 7 part-time semesters. The combination of clinical expertise and science allows the evaluation and analysis of therapeutic activities on the basis of current research and forms the basis for optimal patient management. Students are trained to become certified manual therapists according to the standards of the International Federation of Orthopaedic Manipulative Physical Therapists (IFOMPT). Admission requirements include state-recognized training as a physiotherapist, a university degree in a health-related subject, a full-time job for at least one year or a comparable part-time job for at least two years after the first university degree, and proof of English language skills at level 3 of the university (CEF B1).
