The “Bachelor of Arts in Music Education – Musical” program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 8 full-time semesters. Especially focused on musicals, the course helps develop the specific individual skills of each student and incorporates intensive actor-singer-dancer training. Basics of the piano accompaniment instrument, Acting basics, Consolidation of the accompanying instrument piano, Movement principles of musical dance (jazz dance, ballet, tap dance, ensemble dance / show), Scenic representation, Applied Music Theory and Ear Training, and other subjects are part of the curriculum. As part of the admission requirements, candidates must present a general university entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification or previous education recognized as equivalent, and pass an aptitude procedure.
