The “Bachelor of Arts in Music Education – Pop” program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences offers a complete study of music in all styles of contemporary pop music. The training to become a professional musician and music pedagogue prepares optimally for the demands of the job market. The training is rounded off by changing workshops and master classes with high-ranking national and international lecturers. Admission requirements include a general university entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification or previous education recognized as equivalent, and the successful completion of an aptitude procedure. In addition to artistic work as a singer, musical performer or instrumentalist in the fields of classical, pop or jazz, graduates also have the opportunity to work as a music teacher at public or private music schools.
