The dual program “Bachelor of Science in Nursing” at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 8 semesters. The degree is completed in conjunction with vocational schools and a clinic / nursing facility, and is designed to accompany training and gives students a double degree: the Bachelor of Science and a professional qualification as a nurse. Social communication and interaction in nursing practice, Shaping living conditions, Introduction to Health Law, Systematization of nursing practice / nursing organization, Basics of nursing and health law, Basics of nursing informatics, Caring for people with disabilities, Health Economics and Care Management and other subjects are part of the curriculum. Apart from the general admission requirements, candidates must have proof of a contract for nursing vocational training at one of the vocational schools or nursing facilities that cooperate with the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences.
