The part-time extra-occupational “Bachelor of Arts in Nursing Science” program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 8 semesters. The contents of the course include the theoretical fundamentals of nursing science, health economics and management, nursing research as well as personnel and project management. Students can also choose two areas of focus from the topics of organizational development, quality development or education and didactics in nursing practice. Apart from a general university entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification or previous education recognized as equivalent, applicants must present proof of an existing employment relationship in a health care facility or a comparable self-employed activity to the extent of at least 50% of the standard weekly working hours.
