The “Bachelor of Science in Vocational Education - Metals Engineering” program at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences is with a length of 6 full-time semesters. The degree combines the metal technology course with a general educational subject. In addition, the students are taught in-depth knowledge of vocational and business education. Admission requirements include present a general university entrance qualification, subject-related higher education entrance qualification or previous education recognized as equivalent, and practical training lasting 13 weeks (of which at least 8 weeks prior to commencement of studies). The program enables graduates to work as subject specialists in training, further education and training in companies or extracurricular educational institutions.
