As an alternative to the traditional state examination law degree, the “Bachelor of Laws in Business Law” at Osnabrueck University combines a wide fundamental legal education with an in-depth study of business law that is both theoretical and practical. The training begins with an introduction to the fundamentals. As part of the curriculum, students learn how often the legal framework must be considered while making business choices. Specialization in one of three topics is proposed for the 5th semester. As a result of their education, many graduates find jobs in the legal and business advising fields and once they've had a few years of practical experience, students can sit for the tax adviser or auditing test and go out on their own. The course has a standard duration of 6 semesters and classes take place in German and English language.
