Description
Osnabrueck University offers the degree program “Catholic Religion – Teaching at Vocational Schools”, which begins in the winter semester and the entire course is covered in German language. Topics covered during the course of study include religion and belief, the biblically promised Judeo-Christian tradition, Christianity's history, Christian practise in society along with interreligious concerns. There are three main areas of study for the students namely, biblical history; systematic theology; and practical theology. These include interaction between Judaism and Christianity as well as exegetical and hermeneutical approaches to biblical texts. A bachelor's degree is the first step in the program. After the completion of their studies graduates can work as a teacher at vocational schools.
