The two-subject study program “Bachelor of Science in Chemistry – Nanosciences” can be undertaken at the Osnabrueck University for 3 years. Studies begin in the winter semester and the language of instruction is German and English. Inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry are covered in depth in this course, which is especially designed to prepare students for a subsequent, English-language Master's degree program. Research and development, production, materials testing, sales, consultancy and patents relating to new, better nanomaterials can be undertaken by students in industry, academic research and government. After the completion of their Bachelor’s degree graduates can apply to a Master’s course such as Nanosciences – Materials, Molecules and Cells.
