Description
The study program “Master of Science in Cognitive Computing” can be undertaken for 4 semesters at the Osnabrueck University, with studies beginning in the winter semester. The language of instruction is English and the course is part-time. The goal of the course is to educate the scientific concepts of cognitive computing and cognitive technologies in a theoretical and practical manner so that graduates may apply them in tangible, economically relevant, and industry-oriented applications. The part-time course is divided into three areas: a methodological base area, which lays the foundations in machine learning, artificial intelligence, neuroinformatic, natural language processing, computer vision, and the (neuro-) psychological foundations of cognition; an integrative area, which combines the methods of various disciplines; and a selectable area of specialization.
