“Bachelor of Science in Computer Science” can be undertaken at the Osnabrueck University for 6 semesters. The entire course is taught in English and German language and the academic calendar begins with the winter semester. In this degree program, students learn the fundamentals of information processing, as well as the general techniques of implementing such machine processes in a wide range of fields. Students also learn how to draw general rules through abstraction and modelling of specific conditions. As well as helping students develop vital skills for managing huge volumes of data and information, the course allows the management of complicated industrial processes and machines, and serves as a valuable tool for research in nearly all fields. Candidates receive 180 credit points by the end of their studies.
