The degree program “Bachelor of Science in Economics” can be undertaken at the Osnabrueck University for 3 years, with classes taking place in the German and partly English language. The course focuses on the underlying problem of resource scarcity and the decisions made in homes, businesses, and politicians on how to use them. A solid foundation in business administration, economics, and economics-related methodologies is provided to all students. During the fifth year, a concentration is chosen and the course is broadened in either business administration, economics, or both. A wide range of options for a practical seminar or thesis are provided by the speakers' professional connections and research initiatives. Graduating students are employed in all business-related disciplines in national and international corporations and government agencies.
