Osnabrueck University provides the degree program “Master of Arts in Educational Science with a Focus on Childhood and Social Diversity” for a duration of 2 years. Teaching takes place in German language and studies begin in the winter and summer semester. During the course of study applicants will be prepared for new challenges in pedagogical and professional practise. Beyond a variety of subject-specific courses, master's students studying educational science have the chance to learn about existing and emerging research fields, as well as actively involved. Included in this is the study of the family and gender as well as the study of extracurricular education, school growth and institutional research. Students will be qualified to work in sectors that deal with issues related to upbringing and education, integration, and institutional transformation.
