Description

The program “Electrical Engineering – Teaching at Vocational Schools” is jointly offered by the Osnabrueck University and Osnabrueck University of Applied Sciences for a duration of 6 (Bachelor) and 4 (Master) semesters, respectively. There is an introductory course in electrical engineering at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences that teaches the mathematical, scientific, and technological foundations for electrical engineering. On top of that, topic didactic skills are taught in the 4th and 5th semesters and this is followed by a Master's degree program that includes both in-depth technical courses and specialised didactics. The course is divided into phases, with German as the primary language of instruction. The academic calendar begins in the winter semester and following graduation students can take up a teaching position at vocational schools.
