“Islamic Religion – Teaching at Vocational Schools” teaches the basic principles of Islam and the traditions of prophets as well as knowledge of the Holy Quran is also imparted during the course of study. This program is offered by the Osnabrueck University and studies begin in the winter semester. The course is divided into phases and it focuses on the creation of Islamic religious education and topic didactics as well as interreligious views at a school of learning. Starting with a bachelor's degree, the program leads to an advanced degree. To teach at vocational schools, graduates need to get a teaching licence from their Muslim denomination.
