Osnabrueck University offers the two-subject degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Latin” for 6 semesters. The course is taught in German language and the academic calendar begins with the winter semester. In this course, students will learn the Latin language and literature in depth, as well as develop critical thinking skills. As part of this degree, a second course must be taken in addition to Latin. Candidates can work at academic libraries, archives and museums or at universities if they have a degree in Latin. Additionally, with a Master's degree in education, individuals can qualify to teach at grammar schools.
