Osnabrueck University offers the degree program “Master of Arts in Literature and Culture in Europe” for 4 semesters. An inter-disciplinary, comparative study of European literatures and civilizations from a historical perspective since the 18th century is offered as part of this degree. Students can choose from a variety of combinations of German, English, French, Italian, and Spanish, and the academic year is divided into two semesters: winter and summer. One of the major goals of the course is to provide students with a solid understanding of how European literatures and cultures have developed and changed through time. Students who complete this course will be prepared to work in university and non-university research sectors in the future.
