Description

Candidates can pursue the degree program “Mathematics – Teaching at Lower Secondary and Secondary Schools” at the Osnabrueck University in German language.  Studies begin in the winter semester, and the course begins with the Bachelor’s degree, followed by the Master’s degree. This degree requires a Bachelor's degree in Education, Upbringing, and Teaching from a recognised university. Students should critically examine their own memories of mathematics classes from their own school days, and develop them further against the backdrop of current pedagogic research in order to obtain a deeper understanding of mathematics throughout the course. Graduates can work as secondary school teachers after completing their education.
