Description
Osnabrueck University offers the degree program “Music – Teaching at Lower Secondary and Secondary Modern Schools”. Music or musicology is a discipline that combines historical musicology and systematic musicology, as well as music theory and creative practice, to create a practical subject. Music technology is also a major focus of the program. Aside from obligatory main and minor instrumental lessons, there is the option of improving practical abilities through school-based guitar playing and singing classes. As part of their education, the students participate in a variety of bands, orchestras, and choruses, among others. The course is divided into phases, and lessons are held in German.
