The two-subject Bachelor’s course “Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science in Philosophy” is available at the Osnabrueck University for 3 years in German language. Philosophy explores human cognition's potential and constraints, as well as the broad structures of human consciousness. A major focus of this degree is linguistic philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysics. Practical philosophy is concerned with human activity, with an emphasis on normative ethics and practical ethics, such as business ethics, but also political philosophy and social philosophy, respectively. This topic is offered as a core and minor subject for the Bachelor's degree and it must be equipped with another subject.
