In the degree program “Bachelor of Arts in Protestant Theology/Protestant Religion” at the Osnabrueck University, students study the history and current of Christianity for 6 semesters in German language. The curriculum is broken down into Biblical Theology, Historical Theology, Systematic Theology, and Practical Theology. Particular focus is placed on Reformation history and reformer doctrine, as well as on modern-day reformer doctrine based on Reformation foundations and church history in Protestantism's era. Osnabrueck's major area of concentration is foreign faiths, the collaboration with Catholic theology and Islamic religious education, and dealing with religious education and topic didactic difficulties. Graduates can work in media and culture sector, in educational institutions among others.
