Osnabrueck University offers the degree program “Master of Science in Psychology with a Focus on Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy” for 2 years with the language of instruction being German and studies beginning with the winter semester. During the Master's program, students are allowed to enhance their fundamental knowledge from their Bachelor's degree that conforms with licencing criteria. Additionally, the course allows for a high degree of specialisation in clinical psychology and psychotherapy as well as the development of a professional profile. Students will be prepared for clinical-psychological and psychotherapy work through a high degree of practical exercises and application of what they have learnt. On the basis of licencing rules, the Master's degree was developed, and it covers everything necessary for Master's degree licencing. As a result, it is a typical entrance criterion for the psychological psychotherapist licencing examination. There is a wide range of clinical-psychological professions that may be pursued with this degree.
