The Osnabrueck University provides the study program “Physical Education – Teaching at Vocational Schools”. Theory and practice are closely intertwined in this course, which begins in the winter semester. There are four main areas of concentration in the training program: school sport; physical education; health promotion and prevention via sport; psychomotor; and sport management and development. Students begin with a bachelor's degree and work their way up to a master's. Studying athletics in conjunction with a professional topic and business education is recommended. Graduates work as a teacher at vocational schools after their graduation.
