The seven-semester study course “Bachelor of Engineering in Medical Technology: Service and Application” is provided by the OTH Amberg-Weiden - University of Applied Sciences. The aim of the program is to teach students about the digitalization in the healthcare industry and medical technology. Participants learn how to develop new systems and technologies, as they will explore different lectures like CAE, Radiology and Nuclear Medicine, Therapeutic Systems, RA/QM, Medical & Technical English, Service and Maintenance Management. By the end of their studies, students are able to apply in practice the knowledge they have gained. After successful completion of “Medical Technology: Service and Application” graduates are prepared for career as a medical technologist.
