The four-semester program “Master of Arts in European Studies” at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg is taught in German and English. The goal of the course is to prepare students to analyze, evaluate and critically question the policy-making process in the European Union from different political, sociological and economic perspectives. Students develop critical thinking, social and personal skills and other competencies. The admission requirements are a bachelor’s degree in social or economic sciences and a C1 level in English. Graduates pursue a career in the public, private or third sector involved in EU policy-making.
