The program “Master of Science in Safety and Hazard Defence” at the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg has a length of three semesters. The course builds on the acquired knowledge and competencies from the bachelor’s degree. Students gain knowledge and skills in fire, disaster and civil protection, environmental protection, water protection, safety management and other fields. Admission is restricted, and students must have a relevant undergraduate degree.
